PRINTED COURSE CATALOG

The Jazz Workshop has classes from introductory to advanced – for students just beginning to improvise, professionals wanting to “sharpen their edges,” and non-musicians wanting to learn more about jazz. Instructors are Nashville’s finest jazz musicians. View our faculty page here.

Classes are weeknights, with some afternoon classes & weekends depending on student interest.

The Nashville Jazz Workshop offers a certificate program for vocalists and instrumentalists, to help students organize their study and plan for future goals. Details here.

Payment

NJW classes are affordable, but prices may vary. A 6-week session is $275 for 2 hrs, a 3-week session is $150, and listening classes are $100. Individual class prices are listed on our class schedule page. Full payment is required upon registration. You are not confirmed for your class until payment is received.

Cancellation Policy

Class tuition is non-refundable. If you can no longer participate in the class, you must contact us at least 72 hours before the session begins to receive a class credit of 50% of your class tuition, unless other arrangements have been made in advance with the Director of Education. There are no discounts or refunds for missed classes. (With permission from the Director of Education, you may be given the opportunity to audit another NJW class within that week to make up for any missed classes.)
