Vocal Literature: Music of Antonio Carlos Jobim


Study and perform original compositions by Antonio Carlos Jobim, a Brazilian songwriter, composer, arranger, singer, and pianist/guitarist. Jobim, a primary force behind the creation of the bossa nova style, is best known for “The Girl from Ipanema,” one of the most recorded songs of all time. Other songs include “Desafinado,” “Corcovado,” “Meditation,” “How Insensitive,” and “Favela.”
