Jam Sessions: Repertoire and Etiquette
In this class we will look at 25 songs that are commonly called at jam sessions. We will discuss the forms, standard keys, melodies, chord changes, and how to memorize. Also discussed will be jam session etiquette and procedures including sign up sheets, when to play or when not to play, and stage presence.
