The Nashville Jazz Workshop is committed to keeping everyone safe as we welcome you to our newly renovated facility on Buchanan Street. The following Safety Plan was developed following consultation with Metro officials and medical experts.
NJW COVID Protocols: Live Performances & Special Events
Per the new CDC recommendation (7/28/2021), we ask that everyone wear a mask while inside at the Nashville Jazz Workshop. If you don’t have a mask one will be provided for you.

NJW COVID Protocols: In-Person Classes
- You must be fully vaccinated to take a course
- You must show proof of vaccination
Definition of “fully vaccinated”
- You must be two weeks past your second dose of a two-dose vaccine such as Pfizer or Moderna, or
- Two weeks past a single-dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine
Proof of Vaccination
Fully vaccinated instructors and students must submit a photo of their vaccine card to the Nashville Jazz Workshop seven days prior to the start of their class(es). Send proof to email@example.com
Anyone not fully vaccinated or who does not wish to disclose their vaccination status is encouraged to participate in Nashville Jazz Workshop online classes. See https://nashvillejazz.org/class-schedule/ for full list of classes.
