Kateri studied flute through college, focusing on classical and jazz while keeping very active playing and singing in various groups in and outside of school before moving to Nashville.

Locally, Kateri is a member of the soul power group The Jason Eskridge Band and leads her own project going by her artist and birth name, ‘Kateri’.
