Her musical journey began in a household steeped in Jazz, with her father, Jazz trumpeter and educator Stephen Fulton, recognizing her passion for music at an early age. Inspired by legends like Clark Terry and Major Holley, Champian’s focus on Jazz blossomed. She made her professional debut at the age of 10, performing at Clark Terry’s 75th Birthday Party. Since then, Champian’s piano and vocal talents have earned recognition for their distinctiveness and sophistication, captivating audiences in New York’s finest Jazz rooms and concert halls worldwide.
