Connye Florance Valentine’s Show

Join vocalist Connye Florance in the Jazz Cave on Friday, February 10th, 2023 for an evening celebrating Valentine’s (a couple of days early). Joining Connye onstage is saxophonist Mark Douthit, pianist Kevin Madill, bassist Brian Allen, and drummer Marcus Finnie. The band takes the stage at 7:30pm CST (Doors at 7:00pm).


CONNYE FLORANCE: With accolades and career credits that include: “Jazz Vocalist of the Year “; Nashville Grammy (NAMMY) Nomination for Album of The Year, (Turn My Heart); Southern Artistry’s “Esteemed Southern Artist” endorsement; and Nashville Jazz Workshop’s 2013 Heritage Award, Greensboro, NC  native Connye Florance is known for bringing transformative , captivating musical experiences to her audiences… in professional theatrical productions, jazz rooms and concert halls. 

She has toured with Columbia Artists on and off Broadway; performed alongside a variety of notable artists, including Randy Brecker, Kirk Whalum; she is featured on more than 27 recordings.

Policies: The Jazz Cave is a BYOB establishment, with no alcohol or food service. You are free to bring alcoholic beverages and snacks. We sell soft drinks and bottled water. The Jazz Cave is a listening room, and we ask patrons to keep conversation to a minimum and silence cell phones. Audio and video recording is prohibited. TICKET SALES ARE FINAL. We do not issue refunds. Masks are recommended for all patrons.

Proceeds from Nashville Jazz Workshop Digital Concerts (if streaming) go to the NJW Artist Fund. The Artist Fund is used to help support and create performance opportunities for area Jazz artists, bringing more Jazz to the community and paying artists for their work.
