Jazz AM February: “Cool Blue”, Miles Davis

Jazz AM, a series of free Saturday morning programs offers a fun, interactive jazz concert for young people featuring music, puppets, improvisation, rhythm, and movement!

The next event is scheduled for Saturday, February 5. The program spotlights the music of Miles Davis.

Due to the fluid situation with COVID, it has not been determined whether this event will be presented in person or online via live stream. Watch this space for further information as it becomes available.

The program, facilitated by trained professionals and Jazz musicians, will engage students, encourage creativity, promote collaboration, and build musical awareness for children age 2-10 and families.

“The impact of music on children has and will continue to be a profound part of children’s foundation,” says NJW Executive Director, Eric Dilts. “Learning about Jazz impacts childrens’ creativity and musical development even before they learn to play an instrument. We are excited to launch this initiative to the heart of the North Nashville community.”
