The Nashville Jazz Workshop’s Juneteenth Jazz and Art Live Experience

Join Nashville Jazz Workshop and The Equity Alliance for the annual Black on Buchanan Block Party. As part of the festivities, the Nashville Jazz Workshop presents the Juneteenth Jazz and Art Live Experience. Engage in hands-on community mural painting led by artist Donna Woodley, and witness the vibrant fusion of art and culture. Enjoy jazz performances on an outdoor stage, featuring the Nadia Reist Quintet, along with Roland Barber and the Righteous Few Brass Band. Additionally, children can delight in a special Jazz AM performance, engaging with live music and puppets. Come enjoy a day filled with fun for the whole family for free at Nashville Jazz Workshop!
The Black on Buchanan Block party will also feature food, music, dance, and vendors courtesy of The Equity Alliance and the Nashville Black Market.

Organized by Bike For Equality, Black Girls Do Bike, Oasis Bike Works, Nashville Black Wellness Collective, and Walk Bike Nashville, this event offers a 25-mile self-guided marked route and a 10-mile group/family ride led by Music City Dope Peddlers.
