Nashville Jazz Workshop to Relocate

Nashville, Tennessee — January 10, 2020—The Nashville Jazz Workshop (NJW) today announced it is relocating from the Neuhoff Complex in Germantown to a new home at 1012 Buchanan Street. All NJW classes and performances will continue uninterrupted during the transition.

“We are excited about our new location and look forward to joining the dynamic artistic community emerging on Buchanan Street,” said NJW Executive Director Eric Dilts. “The Neuhoff Complex has been a fabulous home for NJW for nearly 20 years and we’ve watched the neighborhood grow and evolve. The staff and board of NJW are grateful to New City Properties for their generous support and assistance during the transition.”

Jim Irwin, New City’s President, said, “It has been such an honor to get to know the NJW team over the past few years as we’ve begun work on the redevelopment of Neuhoff.  The NJW is doing incredibly important work for the Nashville community and we are thrilled that we were able to work closely together to ensure that NJW was able to successfully transition into a new location before construction activities begin at Neuhoff.”

For two decades the Nashville Jazz Workshop(NJW) has presented, instructed and preserved the art of jazz in Music City, USA. Countless musicians, amateur to professional, and ardent jazz fans have expanded their skills and appreciation for this distinct American art form by playing in NJW ensembles and studying in NJW’s classrooms.
