Josh Hunt

Drummer Josh Hunt is one of the newest additions to the Nashville Jazz Workshop faculty. He studied Percussion at Western Kentucky University, where he received a Bachelor’s degree before going on to obtain a Master’s degree in Percussion Performance from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Since moving to Nashville in 2009 Josh has been one of the most in-demand jazz drummers in the city, appearing with virtually every major jazz artist and band. He has toured with Alison Krauss and Union Station and is a member of the Jerry Douglas band.
