Nina Simone

Nina Simone was at the height of her popularity as a jazz star in the early 1960’s when she shifted her focus to the Civil Rights movements. Here is a video clip from NJW’s 2019 Jazz on the Move on “The Life and Music of Nina Simone” presented by Dara Tucker.
